Over the past days and seasons I have been exploring in different mediums the experience of Identity within the self and society, mediating reality between the private and the political, my individuality with our unity.

Multividuality is about being different, yet the same at once. I’ve always been intrigued by the paradox of the word Identity— I could never quite reconcile its etymological root in Identical. Identical to whom? To what? How can our own selves be different, unique and yet the same?

I live identity as a balancing act between belonging and standing apart, as a place of negotiation in the correspondence of our inner world with the paramount reality.

Identity is a biological space, an economical and cultural site for resistance and change and in my artistic expression I study the creation of identity and how to progress its language.

Each piece is individually created through multiple disciplines and layers, combining photography, drawings, writings, sound and water paintings to depict the different energies and guises we embody throughout life. These custom portraits will portray you and your loved ones— repeated, yet distinct, revealing the emotional and existential layers that make up one’s unique yet identical self.
